AMAA 's MMA system focuses on skills
from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai
(Thai Boxing) and Traditional
Karate. Our MMA classes take
various skills from each art and
teaches how to apply and blend these
techniques in a fluid and applicable
approach.
American
Martial Arts Academy MMA Philosophy
We believe a growing trend in the
evolution of MMA is that athletes
are becoming a "Jack of all trades,
master of none". For this reason we
highly recommend participating
in classes of each art separately in
order to fully develop your skills
and understanding of each art.
These classes are primarily
dedicated to AMAA members but
classes are open to professional and
amateur MMA practitioners from other
schools.

Participation*

The sport
of Mixed Martial Arts is an
intense and evolving combat

use interdisciplinary forms
of fighting that include
jiu-jitsu, judo, karate,
