CDT
is a system of justified force within the guidelines of the law. You will see
and experience situations where personal and family protection is challenged
and how you can effectively defend yourself or your family. CDT is a
justifiable tactical control and last resort weapon disarming system, not a
martial art, and can be learned quickly and effectively no matter what your
gender or size. CDT is simply the most effective non-deadly, compliance, last
resort weapon disarming and family protection system available in the world.
CDT
has been featured in the Glasgow Daily Times,
WBKO News, on FOX, Good Morning America, Inside Edition
& CNN!
Founded by Senior Instructor Thomas J. Patire, the CDT
Method has proven to be one of the most justifiable methods of non-lethal force
training used in today's liability-conscious world. In thousands of street-tested
circumstances where justifiable force was needed, CDT has been effectively employed
without a single permanent injury to any person. Furthermore, no court of
law has ever found someone using CDT justifiably to be liable.
In any circumstance where justified force is a must, CDT has proven to be the most
effective non-lethal, hand-to-hand and weapon disarming system in the world.
Tens of thousands law enforcement, military, and private security personnel, as
well as professionals from all walks of life, have successfully completed CDT
Courses. Now it's your turn to take advantage of these same opportunities. Give

What is the CDT Method?
What
does CDT stand for?
-
CDT stands for Compliance, Direction, Takedown. When put to
use in that specific order, CDT puts the subject in the best possible position for total control
either handcuffed or kept temporarily immobile.
What is the key to the CDT Method?
In
what ways can the CDT Method help reduce liability within an organization?
How
will the CDT Method be viewed by the general public?
What
type of time factor is needed to learn the CDT Method?
-
Combining classroom time with hands on realistic attacks, the CDT Method
can be learned within a two (2) day course. The student will not only learn to
apply the techniques but through proper training will be able to explain
(through verbal and/or written presentation) the proper use of each technique.
This will be an added benefit for an officer if a specific incident report is
needed or the officer is summoned to court to explain his actions.
How
can CDT help my Family?
CDT
helps keep your family safe
-
This innovative program, the first of its kind to ever be developed, focuses
on training the entire family as a unit. Each family member is taught a
different responsibility from distraction techniques or cover and evacuation procedures,
when and if the need arises. Statistics prove that many acts of
violence happen around
children and CDT takes the approach that children are our most precious
gifts of all and this type of training emphasizes their safety at all
costs via easy to learn
sound, verbal, and movement drills.

Educator and to give a well rounded view of situational acts of

CDT has many stringent guidelines that govern its personnel. Systems become
ruined because they are not kept pure. CDT Guidelines and Management Personnel
make sure that doesn't happen. The techniques that are taught are proven to
work, and are proven to be justified as low level non-deadly force techniques.
The street environment is not a controlled atmosphere, therefore a person must
be seasoned and prepared. Otherwise, no matter what he knows, it won't work
for him during a physical altercation. Remember, we all choose our occupations
and must be prepared for the best and worst of them. If you can't handle and
deal with violence, then be smart and get as much training as possible in all
aspects of physical and mental conditioning, or leave your profession before
it's too late.
